Developers can set their own price for their apps and games in Microsoft Store. But they were forced to select among the limited choices which Microsoft was offering. For example, they can set $11.99, but they can’t set $11.11 as their app’s price. Today, Microsoft is removing this restriction with the support for Free-form pricing. Developers can now set the price of their app, game, or add-on to any value they choose in a market’s local currency. Be it $1.11 or 99 INR or CNY ¥11.11. The pricing possibilities are endless! Here’s how to use this feature in Windows Dev Center:Select the market where you want to override the base price with a free-form price:Click Select markets for base price override, select the specific market, and then click Create.Override the base priceSelect Free-form price from the drop-down menu and then enter your value.The entered free–form price must be within the valid range (for example, in USD the range is $0.99 – $1,999.99) and must be in the correct format for that currency. CES 2018 has brought some good news for AMD fans as the company has permanently dropped the prices of Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 and Threadripper in an attempt to step up the competition with Intel Processors. Acer has updated its Swift 7 laptop, which they tout as the thinnest in the world, with new specs and features. The laptop is only 8.98 mm thick but features a 7th gen Core i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of PCIe SSD storage, a bigger 14-inch 1080P screen and now also includes an Intel LTE model for always connected LTE connectivity. Acer Switch 7 Black Edition features a sturdy brushed-aluminum body and is powered by a 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics. Despite its powerful specs, it weighs less than 1.15 kg (2.5 lbs.) Now in their CES 2018 press release, they revealed the device will be hitting shelves this month. The Switch 7 Black Edition comes with a new kickstand mechanism. Acer calls it Acer AutoStand and it can be auto-deployed and auto-retracted, providing single-handed operation as simple as opening and adjusting the display on a clamshell notebook. On the display front, it features a 13.5-inch IPS display with 2256 x 1504 resolution and supports Windows Ink powered by Wacom EMR technology. The Acer Pen will support 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt support to control the angle, width or shading of the stroke. There’s no need to charge the new Acer Pen. Launched earlier this year, Resident Evil 7 is set 4 years after Resident Evil 6, in the fictional city of Dulvey, Louisiana in the Southe United States. It features a new protagonist named Ethan Winters, a civilian who offers fewer combat skills than most previous Resident Evil main characters. Ethan is searching for his missing wife, Mia, which leads him to a derelict plantation mansion, home of the Baker family.
