Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are rumoured for a long time now and recently the company did confirm February as the launch date for the device. We have already known the rumoured specs for a while now but it looks the official specs have just been leaked. The above picture shows a box which looks a lot similar to the retail box and shows all the specs of the device. The device will 5.8″ or 5.6″ display with 4 GB RAM and 12 MP single camera setup. Although there are rumours that Galaxy S9 Plus will have a dual camera setup with 6 GB RAM so if you need a better camera and more RAM then you’ll have to shed more money. The biggest attraction of the device will be the variable aperture setup which will allow you to switch f/1.5 aperture in low-light to f/2.4 when lighting is adequate. Rest of the features include slo-mo camera, IP68 rating and 64 GB storage. Acer has updated its Swift 7 laptop, which they tout as the thinnest in the world, with new specs and features. The laptop is only 8.98 mm thick but features a 7th gen Core i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of PCIe SSD storage, a bigger 14-inch 1080P screen and now also includes an Intel LTE model for always connected LTE connectivity. Acer Switch 7 Black Edition features a sturdy brushed-aluminum body and is powered by a 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics. On the display front, it features a 13.5-inch IPS display with 2256 x 1504 resolution and supports Windows Ink powered by Wacom EMR technology. During CES 2018, Acer unveiled a new Nitro 5 laptop model that is set to bring a more powerful experience to casual gamers. Because it’s marketed as a mid-range laptop and won’t compete with higher-end models, you’ll be able to purchase it for a more affordable price (via Neowin). The new Nitro 5 will come equipped with AMD’s Ryzen mobile processor and sport an AMD Radeon RX560 GPU. The 15.6″ screen supports 1920×1080 resolution. Earlier this year Qualcomm introduced their flagship chipset for 2018. Called Snapdragon 845, it showed what 2018 has in store for mobile devices and flagships but not every device will run 845. A new leak at Chinese website Weibo showed three new upcoming chipsets which might be used in Mid range and budget devices. The spec sheet posted on Weibo compares the upcoming Snapdragon 670, 640 and 460 processors. If the other similar chipsets are to be seen, we can assume that 670 and 640 will be made available for mid-range devices while 460 will be for budget devices.While the Snapdragon 670 is rumoured to replace the existing 660, Snapdragon 640 is probably a new line to be introduced in 2018.
