ASUS ROG Strix XG27VQ 27” Curved 144Hz gaming monitor now on sale at an affordable price

Asus’s bid to offer immersive gaming at an affordable price, the ASUS ROG Strix XG27VQ 27” Curved monitor, is now on sale at Amazon.com.

The screen offers a 144 Mhz refresh rate, support for AMD’s FreeSync standard, Asus’s Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology, 300 nits of brightness and supports for  Asus’ Aura LED lighting system.

The screen only delivers 1080P gaming, but this by itself should help the quest for high frame rates, and brings the price down to a pocket-friendly $349.99. The narrow bezel also makes the device ideal for creating a full wrap-around multi-monitor display.

For that price is also offers support for HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 or dual DVD-D connector.
