Samsung Galaxy Book reviewed against the Surface Pro (video)

Professional reviewer Chris Gower has reviewed the new Samsung Galaxy Book vs his old Surface Pro 3 and Microsoft’s Surface tablets in general, looking at the strengths and weaknesses of each device.

Samsung’s Galaxy Book comes with a redesigned detachable backlit keyboard, a tilt-recognition S Pen that supports 4,000 points of pressure and Windows 10 Pro. It is powered by 7th Gen Intel Core i5 Processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and offers up to 11 hours of battery life.

In the video, he complements the design, improved S-Pen, keyboard and value for money on the Galaxy Book, but notes Surface appears to offer better hardware quality and durability, and better functionality when it comes to the Surface stand. This could mean for example that the Surface would be a better investment long term, but the Galaxy Book would offer the most features immediately, particularly because the keyboard and pen are available right out of the box.

With the holiday spending season coming up, will any of our readers be looking to replace their current Surface with a new generation, or jumping to another tablet like the Galaxy Book? Let us know below.
