Windows Store’s new Fluent Design revamp now available to all Windows 10 users

Microsoft has finally started rolling out the new Fluent Design revamp for the Windows Store to all Windows 10 users ahead of the release of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. The new design for the Windows Store brings a slightly improved experience to users, but it’s not the major update Microsoft teased with a Fluent Design concept earlier this year. The updated Windows Store design includes a card-based user interface and some new parallax effects. Microsoft as also added Fluent Design’s in-app Acrylic effect to the navigation bar of the Windows Store, which looks pretty neat when you scroll through content within the app.

The updated Windows Store design includes a card-based user interface and some new parallax effects. Microsoft as also added Fluent Design’s in-app Acrylic effect to the navigation bar of the Windows Store, which looks pretty neat when you scroll through content within the app. But there are still a couple of design flaws in the app where some listings have different sized thumbnails as you can see in the screenshot above. It’s really annoying.

The new Windows Store update is now rolling out to all Windows 10 users, which means it may not be able to you right away. Just open-up the Windows Store and check for updates to see if there’s one pending.
