Fortnite is accidentally allowing Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers to play together

It appears as though Fortnite is allowing Xbox One players to compete against PlayStation 4 players. It’s unclear if this is a feature or a glitch but recently many gamers have noticed that they’re playing against PlayStation 4 gamers. News of this flooded Reddit and other social media platforms days ago but until now it wasn’t verified. After looking at the information ourselves and reading what other gamers and outlets are reporting, it’s confirmed that this is happening. There’s no doubt about it anymore.

On many occasions Sony has said that they won’t support cross-play because they want to “protect children” so this is probably a glitch rather than a feature. However, you never know. Jim Ryan’s heart may have grown a size or two since his outrageous statements from a few months ago. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more.
