Microsoft launches redesigned Office.com experience

Last week, we reported that Microsoft is rolling out a brand new design for the app launcher in Office 365. Today, Microsoft announced that they are launching redesigned Office.com experience as well.

Office.com is an easy-to-remember URL which can act as the gateway to Office 365 world. From Office.com, users can go to different Office 365 apps, start a new Office document, get access to recently used documents and more. Microsoft has also included improved search experience which allow consumers to find Office 365 documents, apps, people, and sites directly from Office.com.

The updated Office 365 app launcher makes opening and switching between different Office 365 web apps easier. You can learn more about the simplified Office 365 Launcher experience here.

Finally, Microsoft has added a new section called Office 365 gallery where consumers can explore and learn about the full range of Office 365 apps they already have access to. Based on their subscription and usage patterns, Office 365 gallery will offer smart suggestions on the right app. Consumers should click Explore all your apps from Office.com or the Office 365 app launcher to access Office 365 gallery.
