Microsoft today released a big update to the look and feel of the OneDrive for Android update, which interestingly means the app looks a lot more like the old Windows Phone version.
Version 5.1 of the app removes the hamburger menu, meaning there is a new tabbed design which Microsoft says “helps you be more productive” by surfacing better Shared and Recent files.
It also makes it easier to see when you have notifications, saved offline content and other information in the new “Me” section, while a new “Free Space” function will encourage you to free up space on your device by deleting photos and videos after they have been uploaded to OneDrive. This will also surface via a notification which the paranoid can turn off permanently.
If you want to check out the new look and features make sure to grab OneDrive’s latest update from the Google Play Store here.
