Samsung announces four new Samsung Notebook 9 series devices

Samsung today announced the new Samsung Notebook 9 Pen and three new versions of the Samsung Notebook 9 (2018).

The new Samsung Notebook 9 Pen is a 2-in-1 PC with full metal chassis with premium magnesium aluminum. Samsung noted that this magnesium aluminum alloy called Metal12 provides durability while keeping it super light at 2.2 pounds. It features a 360 degree hinge that will allow users to convert the device according to their needs. It also comes with the S Pen. The S Pen is battery free, built into the device and it can recognize 4,096 levels of pressure with a fine 0.7mm tip. It also comes with tilt detection for more natural drawing experience.

The updated Samsung Notebook 9 comes with three different versions offering a 13.3” to a 15” screen and enhanced graphics capabilities. It weighs up to 2.84 pounds and measures 15.4mm, one of the lightest and thinnest notebook devices in its class. It also features 75Wh Hexacell battery, Samsung’s largest and most powerful battery placed inside a laptop. It also supports Fast charging.

All these four devices are powered by the latest 8^th generation Intel Core i7 processor and Samsung Dual Channel Memory for great performance. And they come with the RealView display for outstanding viewing experience. While the new Samsung Notebook 9 laptops come with fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello authentication, Samsung Notebook 9 Pen includes an IR front-facing camera for facial recognition login.

The Samsung Notebook 9 Pen and Notebook 9 (2018) will be available starting in December 2017 in Korea, and in the first quarter of 2018 in the U.S.
