Microsoft recently launched their Always Connected PC initiative with two Windows on ARM devices, the HP Envy x2 and Asus NovaGo, with an unannounced Lenovo devices also expected to be unveiled at CES 2018.

Now Fudzilla reports that we can expect two more devices to join the roster. The first is from Samsung and the next from major smartphone OEM Xiaomi.

Fudzilla notes that Snapdragon-powered always connected PCs are expected to be sold via the carrier retail network, and that Xiaomi, who at times sell more phones than Apple, has a massive presence in China which should help push the platform.

ARM-powered laptops are expected to feature all day battery life and month-long standby times which Microsoft believes will change the way we use PCs.

At present we expect most devices to only be available with the launch of Redstone 4 in Spring 2018, and for a next generation powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 o hit the market in the second half of 2018.
