Microsoft release patch for Flash Player zero-day exploit

ساخت وبلاگ

We posted a week ago about a new vulnerability in the Adobe Flash Player which was apparently being used by North Korean operatives against South Korean researchers in “limited, targeted attacks against Windows users.”

The malware can be delivered by web pages, but also by email or in Office documents.

Most browsers and versions of Windows (and even Linux and MacOS) were affected, but Microsoft has today made a patch available for the issue.

Microsoft notes the Adobe Flash Player KB4074595 for Windows 10 includes important security fixes, and notes:

“This security update resolves vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player that is installed on any supported edition of Windows operating system.”

The update can be downloaded directly from Microsoft here.
