A new security vulnerability in Skype for Windows desktop app was revealed last month. The issue was in the Skype Updater tool that keeps the Skype app on Windows always up-to-date. In order to prevent new users from downloading the vulnerable app, Microsoft pulled the app from the web. Microsoft has now fixed the issue and they have made the Skype for Windows desktop app available for consumers. Skype is now available in the Linux snap app package format from today, as per an aouncement by Canonical, the parent company behind Ubuntu. After much complaints, Skype messaging is once again available on the Outlook.com beta site. The feature was temporarily removed as part of the redesign of the site and was just retued a few days ago. Unfortunately not in the full, at present only chatting is available, but Microsoft promises further development will take place, saying: More improvements to the Skype integration will come in the future, but for now, please enjoy the upgraded Skype chat experience! Microsoft released a Skype Universal Windows Platform app for Windows 10 Mobile a long time ago. Since then, I have been facing some real good issues with the app specifically on my Lumia. Now, even the users are reporting some serious issues with the app. As we can see in the screenshot above, users are really reporting a bug that causes the video of their to flip upside down.
