Microsoft updated the Windows 10 Photos app for Windows Mobile, and if they were hoping to stop users from ever opening it again, I’m happy to say they delivered the right product.First, let’s start with the improvements. Microsoft has ported the desktop app to Windows 10 Mobile. This means users now have access to a wider range of customisation features than were previously presented in the Windows 10 Mobile app. You now have access to filters, so you can overlay your photos with basic filters without needing to jumpover to another app.On the negative side, Microsoft has ported the desktop app to Windows 10 Mobile. Microsoft may have ditched Windows 10 Mobile, but its fans still have hope, no matter how far-fetched.On Behance, this concept takes Windows 10 Mobile’s design and reimagines it with fluent design.Fluent isn’t the only change here, the Cortana button is removed and replaced with an action centre button, which makes sense as Microsoft’ll be moving Cortana there anyway.Of course, as Microsoft has stopped offering support for the operating system, users will be well aware that this concept, however beautiful, will remain just that. The firm is reportedly working on a foldable device due to be delivered later this year, with a summer release being hypothesized, but the firm has yet to aounce anyt...

Microsoft released a Skype Universal Windows Platform app for Windows 10 Mobile a long time ago. Since then, I have been facing some real good issues with the app specifically on my Lumia. Now, even the users are reporting some serious issues with the app. As we can see in the screenshot above, users are really reporting a bug that causes the video of their to flip upside down. This is really inconvenient and gives unpleasing experience to the users. But this bug is not observed with the PC UWP app which is supposed to be the same. This raises a serious conce on how Microsoft is implementing their strategies in sync with Windows 10 Mobile and their Windows 10 for PC Operating Systems. I hope...

There has never been an official aouncement that Windows 10 Mobile is being phased out, but there has been portends from various sources, including comments from the likes of Joe Belfiore. Now another such sign has appeared, in the form of the latest Windows 10 SDK, which appears to omit the definition of Windows 10 Mobile from the SDK, meaning apps using the latest version of the SDK will not be able establishif they are ruing on a Windows 10 Mobile device or not by calling theGetProductInfo function.Removed from the SDK is PRODUCT_MOBILE_CORE which is the formal name for Windows 10 Mobile. The move suggests that future versions of Windows will not find its way to Windows 10 Mobile, and that ...
