Windows 10 Build 14951 comes to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring

A new build of Windows 10 has just been released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. The latest build of Windows 10, build 14951, is a fairly minor update from the last Windows 10 Insider Preview (build 14946). There are a couple of improvements in the latest build, though. With Build 14951, Microsoft is refining the new precision touchpad experience which was introduced recently — the company is letting users hook up keyboard shortcuts with the mouse gestures, and they have also updated the Reset button with some UI improvements.

More importantly, the update includes some nice improvements for Windows Ink. In build 14951, users can now change the pen colour and width on Windows Ink without having to open the pen dropdown twice. The update also introduces a new feature called Stencils for Windows Ink which is described below:

These are some quite nice improvements, and I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot more updates like this over the coming months as Microsoft has finally started adding features to Windows 10 Redstone 2.

As usual, there are a handful of other minor bug fixes and improvements throughout the OS.
