Watch the full gameplay trailer for BioWare’s Anthem

BioWare’s Project Dylan got its name yesterday: Anthem. This was accompanied by a quick teaser trailer that promised a full gameplay reveal at Microsoft’s E3 keynote, and now it’s finally here. The trailer shows off Anthem’s interesting sci-fi world, slick gunplay, and some great looking power armor.

Anthem is Electronic Arts’ answer to Destiny: it’s a massive MMO with an ever-changing world, and on paper the two sound very similar. Gameplay certainly looks different, though, with Anthem’s fast jetpack movement and gunplay. One thing setting them aside is a technical aspect: Anthem will run at full native 4K on the Xbox Scorpio, which also got its first full unveiling today.

Anthem will be released sometime in 2018, and we’ll presumably get a much more specific date next year.
