Samsung has started rolling out the Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 update to the Galaxy S10 series of smartphones in India, the UK, Spain, and Poland. However, users who were under the OneUI 2.0 beta testing program received the stable Android 10 update, meaning that most of the Galaxy S10 users who are running the Android 9 Pie update are yet to taste Google’s latest version of Android.

The Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 update brings plenty of new features and improvements to the overall stability of the device. Additionally, the update will also bring a system-wide dark mode along with Smart Lock Screen, Digital Wellbeing, a new Focus mode, a new gesture navigation system and the latest Android security patch of December. The OneUI 2.0 update weighs around 1.9GB.

Samsung recently rolled out the OneUI 2.0 update for the Galaxy S10 series of smartphones in Germany. We also reported that Samsung will start Android 10 rollout in India and China from the month of January next year and Galaxy S10 series will be among the first Galaxy handsets to receive the update.

This could mean that Samsung is testing the waters by rolling out the stable Android 10 update to only a few users in order to make sure that the Android 10 rollout in the coming months doesn’t cause any undesirable consequence.
