A year and a half ago, for every $1 eaed by Microsoft male employees, Microsoft female employees in the U.S. eaed 99.7 cents at the same job title and level. Today, Microsoft aounced that this number has gone up. For every $1 eaed by men, our female employees in the U.S. ea 99.8 cents at the same job title and level.
Racial and ethnic minorities in the U.S. combined ea $1.004 for every $1 eaed by their Caucasian counterparts. Breaking it down even further, African American/black employees are at $1.003; Hispanic/Latino(a) employees are at 99.9 cents; and Asian employees are at $1.006 for every $1 eaed by Caucasian employees at the same job title and level, respectively.
Kathleen Hogan, Executive Vice President, Human Resources at Microsoft said that these numbers reflect their commitment to equal pay for equal work and they will continue their commitment to equal pay by monitoring this data and publicly disclosing it as part of their aual public diversity and inclusion information and data reporting.
