If you own a Surface Book or a Surface Pro 4, you might be glad to know that there are some new driver updates from Intel. The latest updates seem to be related to power management on the Surface devices:
- Intel driver update for Intel Xeon E3 – 1200/1500 v5 6th Gen Intel Core Gaussian Mixture Model – 1911
- Intel driver update for Intel 100 Series Chipset Family SMBUS – 9D23
- Intel driver update for Intel 100 Series Chipset Family PMC – 9D21
It isn’t known what these updates actually do. However, these updates probably improve/fix the power related issues which some users might be experiencing. Nonetheless, if you want to grab the latest updates, just head over to Settings > Update & Security and check for updates.
