Microsoft today aounced two special guest judges for Imagine Cup finals. Star Wars: The Force Awakens, lead actor John Boyega, and Dr. Jeifer Tang, part of the duo behind the 2014 Imagine Cup Champion, Team Eyenaemia will be on stage to help choose the next Imagine Cup Champion. Mr. Boyega said: “As an actor, I work with special effects all the time. And the only thing more amazing than Hollywood movie magic is the passion and creativity of the students at the Imagine Cup.”
Last month, Microsoft aounced 2016 Imagine Cup World Finalists. These 35 teams will come to Seattle to compete in the Imagine Cup World Finals from July 26 – 29. The wier will have the coveted Imagine Cup and the grand prize, a private mentoring session with our CEO, Satya Nadella.
