Recently, we reported that Eveote is working on a new app for Windows 10. Now, the company has aounced that it will be launching the new Eveote app on Windows 10. This means the Eveote Touch will no longer be available for users on Windows 10 Aiversary Update. The company is discontinuing Eveote Touch in favor of the new Eveote app, which is based on Centeial. Therefore, the new Eveote app will not be available on Phones, and it will only work on PCs. The experience on the new Eveote app should be very similar to the Eveote Desktop app as the company is using Centeial to bring the Win32 app to the Windows Store. Eveote states:
However, keep in mind that if you are on an older version of Windows 10 or Windows 8/8.1, you should still be able to download Eveote Touch. Eveote states:
We are focusing on our commitment to invest in new features and functionality in our core apps. Eveote Touch was designed as a companion app to Eveote for Windows, and is not meant to be a full-featured version of Eveote. Eveote for Windows offers an extensive set of capabilities in addition to what Eveote Touch offers, including mouse and keyboard support. If you have the Windows 10 Aiversary Update with automatic updates tued on in the Windows Store, you don’t need to take any action. Eveote Touch will automatically update to the latest version of Eveote for Windows. Otherwise, it will be updated the next time you update Eveote Touch.
