WhatsApp has continued to iterate rapidly on their massive messaging platform. The latest addition to the WhatsApp beta for Windows Phone is a feature which first became popular on twitter and is all the rage on productivity apps such as Slack.
WindowsBlogItalia reports that version 2.16.242.0 of the app adds @ mentions in group chats, meaning you can specifically mention some-one in a group chat and they will be notified that their attention is needed.
