Microsoft released a new update for the Outlook Groups app for iOS yesterday. The software giant rolled out a new feature and some improvements with the latest update for Outlook Groups on iOS. With the latest update, the company added support for notifications for Mentions — if someone in a group mentions your useame, Outlook Groups will notify you about the mention, which is pretty useful. Alongside this new feature, Microsoft also improved some other parts of the app with the latest update:
- For this update, we enabled notifications when you’re @mentioned in a group
- Improved the accessible experience (with VoiceOver)
- Fixed bugs that you reported (for example, you can now visit a group from the Discover page before joining it)
