
Microsoft has been updating its Windows 10 apps for a while now, adding in elements from what was internally dubbed “Project NEON”. These updated apps now resembled something between MacOS and Windows 7’s Aero theme, with a glass-like transparency and blur effect applied to the sidebar and Windows of many in-box apps.
Not all users are a big fan of this, with some preferring the classic flat design of Windows 10 for usability and perhaps even aesthetic purposes. Luckily, there’s a single option in the OS to turn all that off.
