Microsoft is finally updating its Wireless Display Adapter. Today, the company introduced a new Wireless Display Adapter which brings the best features and functionality of the first gen Wirelss Display Adapter while reducing the latency in a small form factor. Other than that, there does not seem to be any other new features or improvements.
The second generation Wireless Display Adapter is already available for preorder for $49.95 at the Microsoft Store, and it will be shipping on March 1. Microsoft will also be selling the device at Best Buy and Amazon. Initially, the device will be available in the United States and Canada – however, it will be coming to other markets in the near future.
