Forza Motorsport 7 stands at around 100 GB

Forza Motorsport 7 was always going to be a technical showcase for Xbox One X. It’s at the piacle of visuals and it’s also at the piacle of…occupying space on your Xbox One hard drive. According to the listing for the product on the Xbox Store, the game comes in at around 100 GB on Xbox One. This is going to increase as new content is added. The fact that it’s 100 GB is mostly due to the fact that it runs at 4K 60 FPS on Xbox One X and those assets are massive. I’m sure a lot of it is uncompressed audio too.

Barring any other games that come out between now and when Forza Motorsport 7 comes out, this is by far the biggest game on Xbox One. It might be the biggest game on any console actually. Considering that the last Forza title was around 50 GB, this is definitely a startling leap. At this point I would usually go into a diatribe about how huge games are aoying to install and I need to buy another hard drive, but Forza Motorsport 7 just looks so amazing at 4K 60 FPS that I’ll just upgrade my internet. Many Microsoft Stores should have versions of the game ruing on Xbox One X by the end of the week so be sure to call and check. I know there’s one in Cinciati, Ohio which has the game ruing already. October 3 can’t get here sooner!
