Microsoft releases Cumulative Update Build 16232.1004 to Insiders in the Fast ring

Microsoft today released Cumulative Update Build 16232.1004 to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring ruing Build Windows 10 Build 16232. This update does not include any bug fixes, instead they are using this update to test their servicing pipeline. This update only changes the version of the OS and includes a updated binary version of Notepad.exe. Unless you happen to have Notepad.exe open, you don’t even have to restart your PC to install this update.

This update comes with the following known issues:

• Make sure you’ve setup Mixed Reality before taking this update.
• After installing a language pack or feature-on-demand like .NET 3.5, your PC may be offered this update again and fail.

Microsoft also mentioned that this update will only be available until the next Fast build is released.
