Tomb Raider: Underworld is now backward compatible

Larry Hryb just aounced that Tomb Raider: Underworld was joining backward compatibility today. Designed specifically to take advantage of the latest technologies, Tomb Raider: Underworld represents a new advancement in exploration-based gameplay. As fearless adventurer Lara Croft explore exotic locations around the world, each designed with an incredible attention to detail resulting in breathtaking high-definition visual fidelity that creates a truly believable world and delivers a new level of challenge and choice.

The title revolves around the mystery of Lara’s mother and the research her father was working on. The title received great reviews when it came out but the technical limitations of the Xbox 360 held the title back especially in terms of performance. Hopefully the Xbox One port will fix those issues. We’ll update you as soon as we get a chance to properly test out the game. You can buy it on the Xbox Marketplace here. I just got it myself because I absolutely love the franchise!
