In the absence of any new Windows Phones, it’s only natural that Microsoft fans look at other platforms to stay productive on the move.
There are two major phones being released in the next few weeks. While the iPhone X looks a bit like a goonie with a bad hair cut, recent leaks for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 shows a sleek device, and now the full specs also show the looks also come with plenty of power.
According to evLeaks (via Venturebeat) the device will have the following features:
The device is expected to be unveiled on the 23rd August in New York and start shipping in Europe in September.

Microsoft currently promotes a Microsoft Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S8 in Microsoft Stores, and there is no reason to believe the Note 8 won’t also be offered in the same way. Microsoft is also allowing Samsung phone users to unlock their desktops using the fingerprint reader on the phone, and have released software to allow Android users to push websites to Edge on the desktop. It is quite possible Microsoft currently has more apps available on Android than Windows 10 Mobile.
Presumably, for our Continuum-loving readers, the device will also offer support for Samsung’s DeX dock, which allows the device to offer a desktop-like experience when coected to a dock, mouse and keyboard and is now down to a more affordable $100.
Are any of our readers interested in the handset? Let us know below.
