Microsoft really wants you to use Groove Music and is offering new users up to 4 months through a variety of means and methods. Now, signing up for Xbox Live Rewards will also bag you 4 free months of free Groove Music. You’ll need to be a first-time Groove user, of course, this allows you to register for the one-time, one-month free trial. After you have successfully signed up, a code for the remaining three months will be emailed to you.

Microsoft’s Groove Music as a streaming service is almost on par with Spotify and in fact, provides a better app for Windows users owing to being built on the modern UWP platform and its native integration with Windows. Microsoft is also plaing to build out this app over the next few months, adding much-requested features like an equaliser and visualizers.
