Pre-order the Surface Laptop with Intel Core i7, 1 TB SSD for 3rd October shipment

If you want the top-of-the-line Surface Laptop Microsoft has now opened pre-orders for the Intel Core i7, 16GB and 1TB SSD version in Platinum only, for shipment in the 3rd October.

Priced at $2,699 in the United States and £2,699 with tax in the UK, it’s a bit more than $1000 more than the 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD version, which is currently on pre-order in Graphite Gold, Cobalt Blue and Burgundy for $1,599, but is shipping much earlier than the 31st October ship date for that version.
