
The last Creators Update introduced the Night Light feature which automatically removes the blue light from your monitor in the evening, supposedly allowing for less disruption to your circadian rhythm and better sleep when you do actually go to bed.
The feature works relatively well, though some users have suggested it would be better if it faded in gradually rather than abruptly changing the colour of your screen at 8 PM.
Some Windows Insiders on the latest builds of Windows 10, however, reports that a forced Nvidia driver update is breaking the feature, resulting in “halogenic colouring.”
It appears Windows 10 Fall Creators Update build 16288 comes bundled with the Nvidia GeForce driver v387.68, which is silently installed and incompatible with the Night Light feature or with third-party app F.Lux, which has the same functionality.
