Microsoft IoT Central public preview now available

Earlier this year, Microsoft first aounced Microsoft IoT central, a new end-to-end IoT software as a service (SaaS) solution in the cloud that helps customers build, use, and maintain internet coected products. Today, Microsoft aounced the public preview of IoT Central. Microsoft IoT Central enables companies to build production-grade IoT apps in hours—without having to manage all the necessary back-end infrastructure or learn new skills.

Microsoft already has an IoT solution called Azure IoT Suite which is a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solution. Microsoft will be offering both the IoT solutions to cater the needs of different customers. While Azure IoT Suite enables deep customization and full control, the new Microsoft IoT central lower the barriers to creating IoT solutions.
