
Microsoft introduced support for HDR calibration with Windows 10’s Fall Creator Update, but this was limited to select PCs with out of the box HDR support.
With the uamed Windows 10 Spring 2018 Update (RS4), Microsoft is adding support for more screens. While the HDR calibration update came earlier, Microsoft aounced the change to Windows with Windows 10 Build 17093.
With this update, users on the Windows 10 Spring 2018 Update, will be able to use their SDR( Standard Dynamic Range, or Regular) optimised screens to view HDR videos.
